As Le Matin reports, Flückiger, who is currently on loan with Genève-Servette HC from HC Ambrì-Piotta, might have suffered a concussion in the collision with Fritsche. After Robert Mayer, Christophe Bays, and Antoine Descloux, Flückiger is already Geneva's fourth injured goalie.
There is no word yet on how severe Flückiger's injury might be, but if he will be out, Kevin Huber is the only netminder left on GSHC's roster - and Chris McSorley would have to look for another short-term solution. It sure does not look too good, as journalist Grégory Beaud (20 minutes) reports on Twitter:
Flückiger, sonné, peinait encore à marcher, 2h après son choc. Je ne suis pas médecin, mais ça semble difficile de le voir jouer vendredi.
