MEDICAL REPORT - SC Bern won last night's game against HC Lugano 3-2, but lost both Thomas Rüfenacht and David Jobin. Whereas Jobin experienced problems with his adductors, Rüfenacht suffered a severe concussion.

Forward Thomas Rüfenacht had to be carried off the ice on a stretcher and was taken to the hospital after a open-ice check by Lugano's Clarence Kparghai. As Der Bund reports, the Swiss international was diagnosed with a "severe concussion".

Just minutes after the Rüfenacht-incident, also defenseman David Jobin had to leave the ice - also after a hit by Clarence Kparghai. According to the same source, Jobin experienced problems with his adductors and did not return to the game.
