SPENGLER CUP - According to Robert Mayer is currently playing in the AHL with the Hamilton Bulldogs but the Swiss goaltender has already been rumored to be one of the top candidates for the succession of GSHC's current starting goalie Tobias Stephan, who will leave the club in direction of Zug as of next season.
Mayer will join the Eagles in addition to the already confirmed reinforcements Inti Pestoni and Markus Nordlund from HC Ambrì-Piotta.
