Dean Kukan and Lake Erie Monsters reach Calder Cup Final

Dean Kukan's Lake Erie Monsters have won the fourth game of AHL's Western Conference Final and swept the series against the Ontario Reign. Thanks to a 2-1 overtime win, they advance to the Calder Cup Final.

Kukan is only the third Swiss player to be able to reach for the Calder Cup. In last night's game he managed to get three shots on goal and left the ice with a balanced plus-minus statistic. In 13 playoff games the defenseman scored one goal and two assists. (abu)
