mt_ignoreAs journalist George Richards (Miami Herald) writes, the Florida Panthers have acquired Reto Berra in a trade with the Colorado Avalanche. Colorado will get forward Rocco Grimaldi in return.

According to the same source, the Panthers plan with Berra as their backup goalkeeper. The 29-year-old played 14 games for Colorado in the NHL last season and put up a save percantage of 92.2%. (abu)
