National Hockey League

The final rosters for the World Cup of Hockey have been announced. With the additions of Nino Niederreiter (photo) and Luca Sbisa, there are now for players representing Switzerland in Team Europe.

Already in march it was announced that the two defensemen Roman Josi and Mark Streit were set to play for Team Europe. The team will be coached by Ralph Krueger. The final roster reads as follows:

Goaltender (3): Frederik Andersen (Anaheim Ducks, DNK), Thomas Greiss (New York Islanders, GER), Jaroslav Halak (New York Islanders, SVK).

Defensemen (7): Zdeno Chara (Bosten Bruins, SVK), Christian Ehrhoff (Chicago Blackhawks, GER), Dennis Seidenberg Boston Bruins, GER), Roman Josi (Nashville Predators, SUI), Luca Sbisa (Vancouver Canucks, SUI) Mark Streit (Philadelphia Flyers, SUI), Andrej Sekera (Edmonton Oilers, SVK).
