NHL - Simon Moser had received a qualifiying offer from the Nashville Predators, but turned it down at the beginning of July due to a low AHL salary. His agent Georges Müller has now offered some insight into the forward's future.

We are in talks with other clubs. A return to Nashville is only an option if the Predators are willing to increase the AHL salary," Müller tells the Preds' blog The Predatorial. However, since Moser is a restricted free agent, he would have to sign an offer sheet, which the Preds then in return could match. Unless of course, he returns to Switzerland.

Simon Moser received an offer for the league minimum, meaning he would get $605,000 in the NHL, but only $70,000 if he plays with the Predators AHL affiliate the Milwaukee Admirals. As the blog points out, however, the AHL salary he would receive is pretty much standard for the players within the Preds' organisation.

The 25-year-old forward played six games for the Nashville Predators last season, scoring one goal and one assist. With the Admirals, he put up 26 points (eight goals, 18 assists) in 51 games.
