NHL - EV Zug just announced three days ago that they have signed Calle Andersson to a one-year deal. Since he was in possession of an NHL out-clause though, the New York Rangers were able to sign him to an entry-level deal now.

However, this does not mean that the 20-year-old Swedish defenseman will not play in Zug, as he tells expressen.se: "Yes, I will play in Zug, but I will go over to New York for development camp. I have participated in it in 2012 as well, but was not able to go in 2013 due to a hand injury."

He adds that the deal came through yesterday and that this is pretty much a "dream come true" for him. Calle Andersson had been drafted by the New York Rangers 119th overall in 2012 and has now signed a three-year entry-level contract with them. He will thus be on loan with EV Zug.
