Champions Hockey League

mt_ignoreIs HC Fribourg-Gottéron struggling with missing equipment for tonight's CHL-game? As La Liberté reports, four players had the bad luck to arrive without their baggage at the airport of Luleå yesterday.

As a consequence, the Dragons' goaltenders Benjamin Conz and Reto Lory as well as defender Alexandre Picard and forward John Fritsche were unable to take part in yesterday's on-ice practice. Fortunately, HCFG's coach Gerd Zenhäusern could finally call up two netminders of Luleå's youth team in order to practice not with wooden dolls, but with human beings between their pipes.

We can only hope that Gottéron will be able to resolve this problem, so that every player is fully equipped and ready for tonight's Champions Hockey League clash on the road against Luleå HF. (rlu)

UPDATE As La Liberté journalist François Rossier informs on Twitter, the respective players of HC Fribourg-Gottéron have meanwhile received their missing bags/equipment. Thus, all's well! (rlu) - 29 August 2015, 11:25 PM
