Former Ambrì-Piotta netminder Edgars Masalskis in try-out with Lada Togliatti

Masalskis had already played in the KHL last year before he joined the Leventinesi at the beginning of January 2015. For Ambrì, the 35-year-old Latvian suited up ten times. Earlier this year, he had been rumored to join Sparta Praha in the Czech Extraliga. (tme)
